What aspect of AI do you love most?

AI is by far the top ranked show in terms of rankings. Why is AI such a phenomenon? What about it do you love the most?

Hmmmm - what aspect do I love most? Good question. I love the hope and possibility. I guess part of me loves living vicariously through the contestents; I'm too old to audition, but always wonder, "what if..." I love a truly moving performance - which I personally thought Kat gave last night, although I'm a Chris fan.
I also love the hype and the morons who make fools of themselves and the way the judges abuse them. That's a perverse laugh for me, but it's a laugh, nontheless.
Finally, I love having this connection with my students. With three of my 6 classes on Thursdays, we start with a discussion of who got cut, who should have been cut and how we feel about who is left.
