I was just wondering what other people's thoughts are on the new format? I'm not a fan. First of all, I feel like going from a top 24 to a top 36 was dumb. I feel like there are a lot of people who - while I don't think they were fantastic - I would've liked to see more of. I'm still not sure how Michael from week 1 and Kris from week 2 got in. Finally, I'm not sure what to think of this wild card thing. I think they should've just taken the top 4 people from each week - regardless of gender. If they wanted to have a wild card week, why not have the judges pick 6 of the people who were voted off and have them perform again for votes instead of them just picking 3 people that they liked?

I think that it would have been more fair to get rid of 6 each week and have a top 18 instead of a top 12 - since they upped it from 24 to 36.

I agree with everything you said, from the number os the contestants to the pointless wild card show.
I just have to say, in defense of Kris and Michael, that they got in fair and square, based on the rules and general goodwill of the judges about they performances. Just to think that a lot of members of the group 3 (IMHO the best group, surprisingly!) won't be able to get in cause it was a strong group (did they picked the groups randomly? who knows!) or because of the comments of the judges (which if they were in another night would change for sure) is infuriating, but it's not their fault.
As always, don't hate the players, hate the game!

The way it's been the results show is an hour and honestly could be cut down to ten minutes. I'm glad it about over.

i'm disappointed in the wild card picks. i would've liked kristen and ju'not to go through....not stupid tatiana. did anyone else think anupe looked depressed about getting in? weird.

AI picked tatiana for ratings...At least that's opinion...They should have picked Norman Gentle he would have been more entertaining...If Tatiana makes it through to the top 12 VFTW will be supporting her....

Oh PUH-LEASE let it be trainwreck Tatiana! Her lunacy is starting to grow on me. This year has been so bloody boring, and without her and Gentles, I may not be able to watch. I am turning into a Worster (ducks as people throw things). It is just so monotonous. I do think the format is making for the boringness, but it is more than that. I just don't LIKE any of these people! That is how I felt last year too. So, I guess I will just be here to make snarky comments about the contestants. Feel free to block me now.:rolleyes:

AWWW! The Gentle had a bit o' the soft place in my heart. Queerer than, but not as cute or talented as, THE QUEEN, Adam. You know I love me some realized gays! He just did not have it. America can stand crazy talent in a homo purse, and usually they like that purse to be funny and shiny, but not so much with Norm. That purse was shiny knock off, but then it went normal bargain Target, and truly, they never loved him, so, Gentle, get a bedazzler and go nuts in your life! Much Love!
