I don't get Megan Corkrey being the favorite at all. The rest of the list looks pretty reasonable. Week one appears to be STACKED. With Danny Gokey, Anne Marie, Stephen Fowler, Anoop Desai, Casey Carlson, Stevie Wright, Michael Sarver, and Jackie Tohn all competing for three spots. Tatiana will have VFTW backing her huge also. We are going to lose some of the best contestants the very first week.

Not sure how the wild card works?
Hopefully it will bring back the good ones that have been voted off.

If this week was "stacked" then I fear what we're going to see and painfully hear in the next two weeks. Casey Carlson and Stevie Wright (at 20 and 15-1) were horrible and don't deserve to stay around. As the judges conceded, Alexis Grace nailed all these pretenders. Danny Corkey had the judges gushing probably because they were glad to hear the last one! Most of these contestants did nothing to show off their voices, instead only displaying their weaknesses. Man were they all stiff on stage, and several had major problems singing with the band.

Dang! The one time that I'm in the States while American Idol is on I forget that I can vote. I'm in Seattle. Drats! Leaving tomorrow.
