Okay, here is how I saw/heard last night:
(taken from my notes)
Kat - As I saw her come on the stage, I was "wowed"! She's never looked better. The song was beautiful, I thought it was AMAZING! I don't understand the judges' being so critical. She sang like a powerhouse. I'd like to see any of the three (Randy, Simon, Paula) try to sing it better!
Elliott - I think it's one of his better performances. For once, I was impressed with him. I don't think he hit a single bum note. (Paula Cries)
Kellie - UGH, this hurt my ears... Can't hear today!!! It was off key and she got ahead of the music twice... Keeps getting worse, and worse, and worse...........
Paris - I couldn't understand half of the words that came out of her mouth. And her constant head-bobbing really distracted me from her song. It was only okay for me.
Taylor - I am perplexed. He sang great at times, and at other times, it was off-key or shaky. At one point, though, I did see the Taylor we all love and adore. I think nerves got the best of him last night.
Chris - WOW, need I say more?!?! I love "Have you ever loved a Woman" by Bryan Adams anyway, but WOW. I am so blown away. Chris just takes another step to show his versatility. And that he can sing, very well. I am smitten. He tore it up, Y'all. Best song ever by him.
Top three? Katharine, Elliott, and Chris
Bottom: (in order) 3rd worst. Taylor, 4th worst. Paris, last place. Kellie (Actually, Kellie and Paris are interchangeable)
:fart:
(Oh, yeah, to address Paula's weird ways last night. Paula has a chronic pain disorder in her spine, and she was pretty much thrown into a wall onto her back about a week ago (charges are being pressed). If she's taking the right narcotic pain killer, it would explain all her moodiness and spaciness. Some of the side effects include drowsiness, sleepiness, constipation, euphoria, exxagerated emotions, etc. I think this is the reason she's acting so silly. So I refrain from picking on her.)
