View Full Version : What's the most outrageous thing a contestant could do to keep their hopes alive?

I think pretending to faint in the middle of a performance (like right after hitting a high note) would be good for at least two more weeks of security, minimum.
Of course it would wreck havoc with the show; it's broadcast live to about two-thirds of the nation. What would the producers do? If they dragged the contestant off the stage before providing proper medical care they would appear insenstive, yet they also have to be concerned about letting all the contestants perform. My guess is they would just let the show run long.
Anyway, what other dirty tricks/stunts could a contestant try?

Hmm... seeing a Rob & Amber -type proposal live could be interesting. :)

Yeah, I'd have to download DialIdol for my PC and speed dial on my cell phone if that happened.

I agree with Frank. But, I think if it were Kellie, what would pop out would be stuffed gizzard bags.

Well, I'd say we had one of those tonight! Not exactly a wardrobe malfunction as defined by Janet, but certainly a slight wardrobe mishap? Anyone else catch it?

Don't know if my husband and I were the only ones to notice it last night, but Kat's double-sided tape failed her last night. She was getting into the song, dancing, and her boob tried to fall out of her beautiful yellow dress. She quickly grabbed her chest. Camera panned away very quickly. Maybe those not in the East got an edited AI last night!!!

she had a button (or maybe a stitch?) pop on the slit below the waste. it was an obvious pop, not intentional. or maybe it was... maybe it was double-sided tape that pops when just the right amount of pressure is exerted... maybe she read frank's post a little further back in this thread.
cameraman was just in the right spot too... they quickly faded to another camera shot.
