Trust me...no one in their 20's would think a guy over 30 is hot! lol

Female/23... I could not disagree more. I know that plenty of my 20-something friends drool over older men more than the younger ones. Older men have wisdom, staying power;), and generally are over the let's-treat-my-girl-like-sh!t-and-cheat-on-her phase. What 20-something woman doesn't see a George Clooney or a Brad Pitt and get a little warm below the belt??

I know where LikesMusic is coming from, I mentioned in a thread the other week that extremely young women (18-23) are often more interested in boys their own age then men---and there's nothing wrong with that.

If I wanted to I could probably date a different 25 year old every week, but most guys my age who do that (I'm 49) do so because they like to have a trophy on their arm, and I'd like to think I'm not that insecure. And while I would never eliminate a woman I like from dating consideration just because she's in her 20's, I am more comfortable dating women 35-50 simply because we have more in common.

And despite how I may come across at times, when I date a woman I am interested in more than just being able to convince her to remove her thong, although I will not deny that is always somewhere on the list. :D

Nope. Don't have a license or a car. Not going to get either till I know where I'm going to college, which I'll hopefully know by next January. That's because I might be going to a uni overseas (if I can manage it). And if I do get into a four-year college overseas, I probably won't be coming back.

Yeah, think of all the "awesome" conversations we could all have if there were more people like you here to converse with.

Hi everyone, it's me McFeverBlister. I just got through watching Katherine's performance on American Idol last night (72 times) and I can honestly say, it was the greatest performance ever in the history of recorded music. Ever! Ever!

Katherine is so talented she sounds like a combination of Judy Garland, Barbrara Striesand, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion---well I think she does at least, 'cause I've never actually heard any of those other people sing.

And that dress she was wearing. Have you ever seen anything so beautiful IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE? It fit her like a glove. It was the perfect color, to match her perfect eyes and her perfect face and her perfect hair. I wish I could get my hair to look like that.

Oh, and when Randy and Simon said her song was only among the top two or three performances they have ever heard performed on AI you know they were just being mean a-holes by not declaring it the best ever. What do they know about talent anyway? I mean combined they only have something like 60 years of music experience.

But back to Katherine. She is just such a special gift to the world that I think if I had to choose between an end to the war in IRAQ or Kat winning AI I would definitely have to go with her winning AI. 'Cause after all, you have to stay true to those you love.

Yeah, that's the ticket. We need more intellectually stimulating posts just like that! :fart:

Well, Dave, I'm going to Oxford University this summer, actually. Going to take courses in Creative Writing and Speech & Debate. The only thing I'm definitely going to major in is a foreign language (notice how the two classes I'm taking are about language). I would love to go to Oxford after high school, but I'm looking into some other universities in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.

Where were you born? I was born right here, in the same city where I live and have always lived, in Texas. I have long been interested in languages and cultures, and America bores me. That's why I want to move to Europe. The best friend I have ever had in Texas was an exchange student from Romania, and the rest of my good friends are in Europe as well. Americans can be cool, but they absolutely don't share my interests!

Anyway, I should go work on an English paper. See you later. And I hope you, too, will start planning for college soon (if you intend to go).

Actually I have several others. But I'm trying to be nice so I've refrained from using them.

And it's a good thing you're hitting the books, because the word is novocaine (not novacane) and usually doctors use it to numb pain, not treat Alzheimers. Of course, if a doctor needs to numb someone they could just as easily read them a couple of your "Isn't Katherine Wonderful" posts. Cheaper than drugs and far more effective.
