I personally don't have a problem with using a bike.

Let's see if that corn oil solution works out.

To get a billion gallons a day is gonna require a lot of freakin' corn!

I'm really hoping that solar cars will be commercially viable. :)

I keep hearing that the prices are getting up there... I just haven't had to fill up in a while.

What drives me crazy is the cost difference from state to state. A week or so ago we were in Utah and we paid $2.30 per gallon while the cheapest gas at that time in California was around $2.65.

It's crazy... over $3/gallon here in Reno. Bush just announced this morning that he's going to reduce deliveries to the nation's strategic oil reserves in an effort to reduce gas prices. For those who might be confused (like the DJ's on the radio out here), that means he's decreasing the amoung going TO the reserves, which means more of our produced oil will make it to the pumps.

I don't care what he does, Bush is a first class a-hole!!! I didn't vote for him.

But wouldn't you agree that inspite of everything, he's still good at heart? :p

I hear that hybrid cars such as the Ford Escape has tremedous gas-saving ability. It is reported that the Escape hybrid is able to run 36mpg in city and 31mpg on highways.

Has anyone here tried it or own such a vehicle?

To me the cost of gas isn't a huge issue and it's not altering my buying thoughts. We paid $3.25 today for gas but the car I drive to me is more important than the price of gas.

We have plenty of oil along our gulf coast and ANWR. It's just been a b!tch to get the liberals to let us drill there.:(
