Christian and democrat?

Please help me understand something...

How can a person call them self a Christian and a Democrat?

If someone is a Christian, and puts God first in there life, how can they vote democrat and say they are in the will of God?

God is against abortion, particle birth abortion and gay marriage. So as a Christian, aren't we suppose to follow God and Support the Republican ticket who are against the same things?

If we know that God hates sin, how can we vote to make these sins legal in our country?

Are we putting God first or ourselves?

A country who turns away from God will see God turn away from that country.

I can see how those who choose not to believe in God or believe and have no understanding and don't choose to walk with God can be democrat. But to say, Yes I love Christ, and I walk with him, then to push him aside to focus on their own wishes or distorted views to vote against God.

If we stop fighting for our rights in this free country, others will take those rights away from us. God expects us to fight for the freedom to worship him.

Socialism is scary, be afraid of the liberal agenda. When Government controls health care and starts wage distribution, what will be next?

Add that to recent events like taking "In God We Trust" out of government and prayer out of schools. These are the acts of liberals.

That's why I say, NO, you can't be a Christian, stay in God's will and vote democrat.

If you don't believe me, pray about it and see what God says.

I've been on a few liberal message boards, and anyone who even talks about their Christian faith gets attacked, left and right.

You are right LPN life is tough, I was a LPN for a few years then went on to RN. LPN's are some of the hardest workers everrrrrrrr, they should be applauded.

Sissy I am a Christian and a democrat and you would be surprised as ro how many people I know who are Rebuplicans have been their entire lives and have had abortions either for themslvers or for their children would they be hypocrites....I have been thinking about this all day and didn't have time eo respond this morning as I had to go to work...I don't agree with everything the democratic party stands for as I believe most democrats feel the same way I live in a heavy democratic area and you would not believe the amount of pro-life bill boards we do not all agree with killing a life...as dar as homosexuality goes my brother was born that way I know because I grew up with him and saw the difference between him and my other 2 brothers....God is important in my life and I like to live my life as Jesus would want me to...We are given choices in life and hopefully we all make the right ones....

I don't know who you think you are but it seems that the only thing you have going for you is that your hubby is a mod, and that pretty sad.

You may have read the bible but until God gives you the knowledge to understand it, you'll never get it.

As far as the slow kid in school, I'm not that person. I've done pretty well going to work and saving lives for the past 17 years.

Your Obama doesn't want children born from botched abortions to receive medical care. He voted against it 4 times. He said it would only make the mother second guess her decision.

Your Obama voted in favor of partial birth abortion, he said it was because the ban didn't have a clause to use this method to save the womans life. It didn't have that clause because inserting a syringe in a baby's head sucking out its brain matter and killing it cannot save a womans life. Simply delivering the baby will, which BTW has always been legal.

So, if at the end of the day, you don't feel sorry for all those dead baby's, then vote Obama, but I do feel sorry for them, therefor, I'm voting for John McCain and I'm extremely proud of my vote.
