Kelly Pickler in a sitcom
November 10th, 2006American Idol continues to amaze…. just hours after Idol winner Carrie Underwood took home the Country Music Association’s female vocalist award (and Faith’s good wishes) another Idol contestant (Kelly Pickler) will star in her own Fox sitcom.
Fox is developing a comedy in which Pickler will play a small town girl who discovers her biological dad is the state’s governor. (dumb)
20th Century Fox TV will produce, along with Idol producer 19 Entertainment and Watson Pond. Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore (That 70s Show) will write the pilot.
Well… I’m not so sure about the idea of this sitcom and I bet it will be zapped after the first and only season.
