Kanye West to release longest music video

September 17, 2010

American rapper Kanye West is set to be releasing the longest music ever made in the music industry.

The rapper will be releasing an epic for 40 minutes for his newest single, ‘Runaway’.

Beating the record of Michael Jackson’s Ghosts, the former title-holder, they music video will be longer by around 29 seconds. MJ’s ‘Ghosts’ was timed in at 39 minutes and 31 seconds.

The Grammy Award-winning singer said that the film will be an epic piece of art basing on his song debut on September 12 at MTV video Music Awards 2010.

The story of the songs is inspired by the own story of the rapper which is badly judged in which a phoenix has born to our planet and then burns itself to escape.

Kanye and his fans are all excited for another first from the rapper. This is surely one of the much-awaited singles in the industry.

George Michael had a harrowing first day at prison

September 17, 2010

English singer and songwriter George Michael is said to have had an extremely painful first day at Pentonville prison, after the sex offenders had begun to chant his songs after knowing that the singer’s being imprisoned there.

Screaming out twisted versions of the 47-year-old singer’s songs, the inmates strip-searched, put in the block of sex offenders and mocked the singer.

The cops assisted Michael to the shower block to the persistent ‘Guilty George has got no Freedom’ chants.

An inmate said that as soon as the signer arrived, some of his co-inmates burst into a Freedom rendition and when Michael was taken to shower, people were singing ‘Guilty George has got no Freedom’ to the Careless Whisper’s tune.

The inmate added that Michael’s sulking and the signer’s wearing prison-tissue tracksuit pants and shirt but wasn’t wearing any shoes at all.

He said that everyone was peering out of their windows to overlook the exercise yard to see the singer but Michael didn’t show up.

Britney Spears Not Attending Jamie Lynn Spears Wedding

Britney Spears has refused to attend her younger sisters alleged wedding. Sources say the singer’s pregnant 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears is set to marry her 19-year-old boyfriend Casey Aldridge before their child is born.

Sources say Jamie Lynn asked Britney to be the maid of honor at her ceremony but the singer told her “hell would freeze over” before she would attend the wedding.

“When Jamie Lynn asked her, Britney laughed sarcastically down the phone. She told her hell would freeze over before she’d stand as her maid of honor then hung up on her,” said the insider.

Josiah Leming Has No Regrets

This dude has a great attitude and I’m sure he will make something of himself. He seems to be making it OK, he currently has more than 19,000 friends on MySpace and has sold something in the neighborhood of $15,000 worth of his own music through the site.

From MTV:

“There’s a small window of opportunity, and I don’t want to do it too quick or too slow,” he said. “I’ve always been aware of the fact that one day you can be everything, and the next day you can be nothing. Stuff like that has always weighed heavy on my mind. Things are given and taken away so quickly, it’s always sitting in the back of my mind that I could just be another flash in the pan. Everyone wants to be optimistic, but you also want to be realistic.”

Josiah could go further than any other non top 24 contestant in idol history. Did you hear that William Hung.

Avril Lavigne Has *Not Ripped Anyone Off*

The two guys of the “Rubinoos” are trying to sue Avril Lavigne and her co-writer Luke Gottwald. Tommy Dubar, founder of band the Rubinoos, claims that Lavigne’s song “Girlfriend” has a striking resemblance to the 1978 Rubinoos song “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend.”

Lavigne made a blog post on her myspace page addressing this issue:

“Let it be crystal clear that I have not ripped anyone off or done anything wrong. I have never had to deal with anything publicly like this and surely never wanted to. I do not deserve this negative press and attention. I take pride in the songs that I write and appreciate the opportunities to work with some great writers and musicians.” more here

Anyway… doesn’t this sort of thing happen all the time??? I can pick out, just about, any song off my iPod and related it to another song in some way. IMO… the Rubinoos bad needs to let go and get a life.
