American Ben Affleck has apparently hired real-life hardened criminals creating an original bank crime for ‘The Town’, his upcoming directorial movie.
First time to direct as well as co-written and starred a movie, Affleck appeared desperate ensuring that his movie would be a successful.
Starring opposite to Affleck, Jeremy Renner said that everyone on the set was pretty much an ex-convict and there were couple of men who were still robbing various banks.
The 38-year-old director has also spent 4 months to meet the ex-con in jail and then made incidents’ scripts that were told to him.
Affleck said that he felt that he couldn’t do anything that didn’t feel right and he could only be directing after understanding everything on a natural way.
But after hearing pieces of advice from other actors turned directors such as Sean Penn, Warren Beatty and Kevin Costner, he then realized that he should go for it.
Affleck added that the majority said that it’s possible and he’s now starting to talk to some talented criminals.
