Jon Stewart is once again becoming involved with the political process. This time he is holding his own rally, clearly mocking Glenn Beck’s recent event. Stewart is not alone in his quest; he will be joined by Stephen Colbert. The satirist duo will hold competing rallies on Saturday, October 30th at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. They share the location with Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally that was held in August. Unlike the Beck rally there is no historic significance of the date chosen. Remember Beck’s rally was held on the anniversary of the “I Have a Dream” speech given by Martin Luther King Jr. in the same location.

The rallies will be lacking the usual religious undertones of the recent political rallies. Unlike other rallies, attendees are being encouraged to bring creative signs. To illustrate this, Jon Stewart held up a banner on his show that read “Take it Down a Notch for America.”

Jon Stewart’s rally is called ‘Rally to Restore Sanity.” Stewart is holding the rally so that the average citizen, the anti rally attendee can have their voice heard. He is encouraging viewers to attend who don’t necessarily subscribe to a certain ideology but who are fed up with the recent hate filled political rallies. Jon Stewart has also called his rally the ‘Million Moderate March.”

Stephen Colbert of the Colbert Report will also be holding a rally at the Lincoln Memorial that day. Colbert’s rally is titled “March to Keep Fear Alive.” When speaking of his rally, Colbert told viewers “They want to replace our fear with reason. But never forget ‘reason’ is just one letter away from ‘treason’.”

The rallies were announced on the September 16th episode of the Daily Show. Stephen Colbert also made an appearance on the episode, making an announcement of his own rival rally.

British bad boy Russell Brand was arrested on September 16th after an altercation with a photographer at LAX. The comedian/actor was attempting to board a flight in the Delta terminal of the airport with fiancé Katy Perry when the incident occurred. The paparazzi were apparently blocking the couple’s path and according to Perry, trying to take up the skirt photos of her. The whole incident was caught on videotape and released on TMZ’s website.

One of the photographers placed Brand under citizens arrest. The couple then missed their flight and Russell was booked in a LA jail. Brand was charged with simple battery which is a misdemeanor and was released after posting $20,000 bail.

Russell Brand has not released a statement about the incident but fiancé Katy Perry made her feelings known via Twitter. In the tweet she defends Russell’s actions saying: “If you cross the line &* try to put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me”.

Russell Brand is set to release a follow up to his autobiography “My Booky Wook” which is titled “My Booky Wook 2” in the U.S. on October 12th. The book will be released in theAustralia and his native UK on September 30th. Upcoming films include the starring role in a remake of Arthur, and the role of Trinculo in a modern version of “The Tempest.” On October 15th he will also be appearing in a Los Angeles courtroom.

Susan Boyle, a Scottish singer who caught people’s attention worldwide after appearing as a contestant on hit TV reality show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, has been having an agonizing time with an obsessed fan catapulting her with trash calls all day and night.

The 49-year-old singer has been annoyed by calls from an anonymous man who’s trying to pretend to be 56-year-old Gerry, her brother.

However, Boyle’s not the only one who’s being annoyed by someone since her workers at SyCo have also been bombarded by prank calls from someone who looks for music mogul Simon Cowell.

A source reveals that the singer is worried and upset and Boyle’s phone has been ringing every day and a voice claims that he is the brother of the singer but he obviously isn’t. and Boyle is also worried since the man who keeps on calling him also target her friends at work.

American singer Katy Perry was seen in Vegas celebrating her bachelorette party with her girl friends as she gears up to say the ‘I do’s’ with fiancé Russell Brand.

The singer arrive at Hard Rock Hotel Bach Club Pool in the Sin City with 25 entourage including co-celebrity bestfriend Rihanna.

The party went hugely disregarded hanging around in the VIP tent in a temperature of 95-degrees. She was apparently preparing to do on a drinking spree.

The ‘I Kissed a Girl’ singer said via her Twitter that she’s signing up for a liver transplant now.

Perry was spotted checking out in a stretched Hummer limo after being seen playing pool at KA of MHM Grand Hotel’s Cirque Du Soleil.

They headed to XS nightclub following dinner at Ago. The singer appeared to be relaxing and enjoying as well with Rihanna and other girl friends.

Then they went to the Sapphire strip club. Katy’s party had come after the singer’s fiancé was being arrested for attacking a paparazzi.
