Jennifer Lopez Ex-Husband Plans Audition for Idol

Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband plans to audition for ‘Idol’

Ojani Noa, the ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez, is planning to audition for the hit reality singing show ‘American Idol’.

Unsuccessful to do the star’s tell-all book, the 36-year-old guy is the first husband of Lopez, who was also fired as a manager of the star’s ‘dead’ restaurant.

Ed Meyer, the manager of Noa, said that Noa will be standing in line with the show’s other hopefuls in auditioning in front of the new ‘American Idol’ judge Jennifer Lopez.

Meyer said that Noa’s a good singer. He also revealed that since their divorce in 1998, their relationship has been a battle. Noa sued J. Lo then she fired him and was later drawn up.

Noa finally claimed that he has a sex tape and exclusive home video of his life together with the American singer.

Through J. Lo’s lawyer Jay Lavely, she denied that there was a sex tape but she admitted that the tape was personal and private.

New American Idol Judges Jennifer Lopez & Steven Tyler

After months of speculation the new American Idol judges have been officially announced! Jennifer Lopez will replace Kara DioGuardi and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler will replace Simon Cowell. Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will join the only remaining original AI judge Randy Jackson at the judging table for season 10 on one of the top rated TV reality shows, “American Idol”.

Jennifer Lopez requested that Fox delay the official announcement of the new judges to happen with the release of her new single, according to deadline.com

What do you think about the new American Idol Judge lineup? Will the new judges save the show when the show goes up against Simon Cowell’s X-Factor?

Jennifer Lopez Paid 12 Million to Become American Idol Judge

After all the talk, rumors, and scandal it seems that Jennifer Lopez is the next judge on American Idol.  The singer/actress reportedly signed a contract for 12 million to become the latest judge on the show.  The 10th season of the show will include new judges after the losses of Kara Dio Guardi, Simon Cowell, and Ellen Degeneres.

There’s no doubt that the new gig is hoped to revitalize Lopez’s career.  After her 7th album “Love?”, originally set for release in April, a failed movie (The Back Up Plan) and being dropped from Sony Music Epic Records, J. Lo’s entertainment future was looking bleak.  Talks began in July for the struggling singer to join the judges on Idol, and the rumors started flying.  It was reported that Lopez wanted 15 million to sign with Fox along with a host of other “diva demands” that supposedly caused negotiations to cease on at least one occasion.  Sources state that Fox was also in talks with Elton John, Jessica Simpson, Harry Connick Jr., Shania Twain, and Steven Tyler to become judges.  It now appears that the final lineup will be returning judge Randy Jackson with newcomers J. Lo and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.  With all these things in mind it is not surprising that sources report J. Lo asked for a movie deal and TV pilots during negotiations with Fox.  The truth of whether either of these components are part of the final deal are unclear.

To add to the drama of new Idol judges, J. Lo’s first husband is set to audition as a contestant on the show.  Sources say that Ojani Noa will not only audition for his former wife, but he will do so by singing one of her songs.  His audition will undoubtedly make the cut for the auditions show that is known for its amazing and bizarre “characters”.  Sources also report that the official announcement of the lineup of judges was postponed so that it could coincide with the release of J. Lo’s new single “Get It.”  According to US Weekly, all the rumors will be set to rest in early October.

American Idol Results & Lady Gaga Again?

The American Idol Results & Lady Gaga Again?

Okay seriously how many times is Lady Gaga going to be on American Idol this season? (More about this later).

The show got underway with a group performance that I actually enjoyed. For the most part I always enjoy watching what the group delivers well as just that a group. However, it seems like the guys in this season aren’t much for dancing and if they had more choreography to do they would be in big trouble.

We did learn thanks to Ryan Seacrest that next week’s theme will be “Songs of the Cinema”. That should be an interesting show since the songs could be from almost any year or movie. The Ford Video was something that I really enjoyed since the American Idol contestants had to sing “1-2-3-4” which is normally sung by Plain White T’s. They did an awesome job and with the video being simple they couldn’t have asked for better results.

This week’s theme was Sinatra songs which honestly I am not a fan of but at least most of them did a good job for the most part. The first person who was told they were safe from elimination was Lee DeWyze who was more than happy to take a seat.

Then we got to see an awful taped performance by Lady Gaga. Does anyone know exactly how many times her face has been seen on American Idol this season? I am starting to wonder if there is something going on with her and Simon Cowell! Her outfit was totally creepy and she really can’t sing very well. Now I know she’s huge on the market today but I am still trying to figure out why. Her dancing is okay but that is about all she has going for her. Is her “talents” even appropriate for a family show that small children are watching? Okay enough about her.

One of the favorite parts of the night was when we got to see clips of Harry Connick Jr.’s mentoring which showed his funny side. I really enjoyed when he sang a song from his latest album, “And I Love Her”. Then another group performance took place with all of the of the American Idol contestants singing songs by Harry Connick Jr. which only shows how great he really is. Maybe they can allow him to guest star on the show more to replace Lady Gaga. Who would be in favor of that?

So anyways back to the eliminations. Seacrest split the 4 remaining contestants into groups of two, Aaron and Mike in one group, and Casey and Crystal in another. When Lee was asked to pick the safe group he replied no. So who was deemed as safe? Crystal and Casey were sent to safety which left Aaron and Mike as the bottom two. So the results are in and unfortunately Aaron Kelly was sent packing. He sang his “Fly Me to the Moon” which will be his last performance on the stage as an American Idol contestant. Hopefully we will see him in the future performing on the stage as the upcoming start that he is.

We now have our final 4 and as the contestants become less the anticipation only grows to see who this season’s winner will be. Make sure to keep checking back for new updates and we can only hope that Lady Gaga makes another appearance on next week’s show.
