Wyclef Jean was admitted into a New Jersey hospital today.  The hospital visit was confirmed in a tweet to fans.  The past few months have been turbulent for Wyclef.  He attempted to replace the President of Haiti and entered the political race with high hopes.  Only to have them shattered when the election officials determined that he did not meet the residency requirements for the position.  Since he has returned from Haiti, he has reportedly suffered from headaches.  It was believed that he would appeal the election official’s decision and continue to campaign to become the next leader of his homeland.  However, he announced that he would not be doing so and instead started a tour around the globe to meet with different United Nations Officials.  He has also begun work on a new album.
