Is 90 Seconds Enough?

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You’re moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You’ve just crossed over into… the Twilight Zone.
Is 90 seconds enough time to decide? Or is this just another episode of “The Twilight Zone”?
Tonight’s two hour live debut will have several facets making up it’s substance.
It will have 44 minutes of commercials embedded within it’s inaugural 120.
Add to that approximately 4 minutes of combined individual singer introductions, and judges comments, and now we’ve added another 48 minutes to the total.
We are now up to 92 minutes of the show burned, with 28 minutes left for the actual singing competition part of the show.
That leaves us approximately 2 and a half minutes of actual performance time for each of the twelve.
Subtract applause and instrumental riffs and my best Guess/Estimation of actual singing will be about 90 seconds for each of tonight’s contestants.
90 seconds to decide who is the “Best” ?
Enjoy the Journey, Don’t Blink, and Good Luck!
