Jasiel A. Robinson was born on April 2nd, 1983 in Atlanta Georgia. His stage name though is Yung Joc and that's what his fans know him by. Young Joc got his career up and going in 2006. Young Joc is famous for his unique lyrics such as "Its Goin Down". He has everyone of all ages using the phrase and yelling it out all over the world. Young Joc is signed with the label Bad Boy South. Young Joc's first album came out in 2006 entitled "New Joc City". The album debuted at number 3 on the billboard charts. The album has been certified platinum. The first single from the album was "It's Goin Down", which became a big hit for Young Joc. His first single received constant radio play all over the world. His second single "I Know You See It" was also another big hit for Young Joc with his fans. This was another single for Young Joc that received great radio play all over the nation. Being his first album, it has gotten Young Joc really noticed and also a very big fan base around the world.

Yung Joc's second album entitled "Hustlenomics" is to be released in the summer of 2007. The very first single off the album is "Coffee Shop". The single was released in the beginning of May. A few other tracks have been confirmed to be on the album such as "Bottle Poppin" and "So We Hustle."

Young Joc has also been featured on many other songs by big artists as well. Young Joc has been featured on the hit songs "I Love You" by Cheri Dennis, "Show Stopper" by Danity Kane, "Zoom" by Lil Boosie, "In The Hood" by Trea and "Buy U a Drank" by T-Pain. All these songs featured Young Joc and have all been chart hits.

Yung Joc has been compared to other rappers such as T.I. and Young Jeezy. Young Joc may have been compared to these rappers but he has very well made a name for himself with his fans and around the world. Young Joc will be blowing up even more when his new album hits stores.
