Trent Tomlinson Biography Trent Tomlinson is a country singer born in Blytheville, Arkansas on July 3, 1975. His father was a former basketball star for the Cleveland Cavaliers before an injury to the knee ended his career. He wanted Trent to follow his example and he started basketball his freshman year. Even though he scored 32 points for the game, his father would talk to him asking questions such as why he did not take the charging foul during the fourth quarter. Before long, Trent realized that basketball was not for him and he turned to music.
He had several deals but they fell through until he landed a deal with Cal IV Entertainment and later he signed with Lyric Street records with whom he made his first album. The single off the album called, “Drunker than Me”. he performed on the Howard Stern Show and this gave it instant airplay on the radio stations afterwards.
His music details both the good and the bad of life and the things people love. Some of his music deals with break ups while others deal with first love and then some are funny little jabs at being the sober one on a night out on the town. He is hoping his album, “Country is My Rock” means people are getting something out of it as he is. This is his dream and his father knows it now. His father is even picking songs for him. He knows what hard work is and knows what happens when you work hard for what you want out of life. He is following his dream and working hard to make it happen. Trent Tomlinson Songs. MP3 & Video |
