T-Pain Biography

Faheem Najm was born in Tallahassee, Florida on June 30th, 1985. All his fans know this famous rapper as T-Pain. T-Pain is an American hip-hop and R&B singer. You might have heard of T-Pain by another name such as Teddy Pain. Teddy Pain is another nickname that some of his fans know him by.

T-Pains first album "Rappa Ternt Sanga" was released in 2005. This album set the bar for T-Pain because of his first hit single "I'm Sprung". This single topped the Billboard Top 100 Chart at number 8. T Pain also reached the R&B charts at number 9. This was T-Pains first top 10 hit. His second single which also topped the charts was "I'm In Luv With a Stripper". This single featured rapper Mike Jones. This single came in at number 5 on the Billboard Top 100, which made this T-Pain's second top 10 hit and Mikes Jones first top 10 hit.

In 2007, T-Pain released his second album entitled "Epiphany". The first single from this album was "Buy U A Drank", which featured rapper Young Joc. This single hit the number 1 spot on the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. This was T-Pains first number 1 hit and Young Joc's second number 1 hit. As of now, there are over 10 remixes of this song that have been created. The second single from the album is "Bartender", which features Akon on the track. So far, the single has reached number 13 on the charts.

T-Pain has hit the charts with both of his albums, but he has also hit it big with being featured on other artists songs as well. He has done songs with rappers such as E-40, Bow Wow, Fabolous, R-Kelly, and so many more it is hard to list them all. As of right now, it is looking as if T-Pain is one of the hottest R&B and Hip-Hop artists around today's scene. You will be sure to turn on the radio and hear him with his own music or featured with someone else on his or hers.
