Tech N9ne was born as Aaron Dontez Yates on November 8, 1971 in Kansas City, Missouri and began rapping as an amateur in 1987, being also known as The Killa Clown, T-9, Tecca Nina, and Kansas City King throughout his career.

Tech N9ne has performed at nationwide gigs with sold out shows in cities such as New York and Los Angeles and at a time, he specialized in bizarre hardcore rap that made him a Kansas Sensation.

Strange Music also owns a catalog of musicians that includes Big Krizz Kaliko, Skatterman & Snug Brim, Kutt Calhoun, Project: Deadman (Prozak and producer Mike E. Clark), and a joint rock effort of Tech N9ne and Kaliko, Kabosh.

From those albums, Anghellic broke into the mainstream after peaking at number 59 on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart. Alongside his albums, numerous music videos have been aired through different music television channels in addition to YouTube and MySpace.

Actually, Tech N9ne is working on his new album, which is scheduled to be released sometime between spring and summer of 2008. This production will also feature some of the Strange Music artists, including Big Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, and Skatterman & Snug Brim.

Even though the album is not ready yet there are rumors other names such as Twista, Yukmouth, Brotha Lynch Hung, Prozak, Insane Clown Posse, Critical Bill, Krayzie Bone, and B.G. Bulletwound may be included as guest appearances.
