Plain White T's Biography

The punk group Plain White T's is from a small part of Chicago, Illinois. The group consists of Tom Higgenson, Dave Tirio, Mike Retondo, De'Mar Hamilton, and Tim Lopez. The group were mainly noticed when they appeared on a popular MTV show called "Undressed" where a few of the group's songs were featured on the show. The band just kicked off their first tour this year with their first show was in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The group will be touring for the next couple of months and then they will be opening up for the group Blue October as well.

The bands first album was released in 2000, entitled "Come on Over". This album was mainly used for making videos and the singles were never really released. This album was featured mainly on the MTV show "Undressed" where they experience great exposure and many fans. The group's second album "Stop" was released in 2002. The only song released from this album was the song "Stop". This was another album that really did not do so well for the group.

In 2005, the band released their third album "All That We Needed". The first single from the album was "Take Me Away", which was not released until 2007. The other single from the album was "Hey There Delilah" that was another song that was not released until 2007 as well. The group's albums have not been chart-topping hits, but once they are more noticed by touring then you are bound to see their music top charts everywhere.

The group has not been in the music light that much, but they are still trying to be more noticed. With touring this year, they are bound to show off all their talents and their fan base will grow even bigger. Make sure to watch for Plain White T's on tour and also catch their music on channels such as MTV and MTV 2. You can also catch their music being played on radio stations everywhere. So make sure to keep an eye out for this group and their awesome punk music. When this group is noticed, you can be sure they will be strong and create record-breaking charts.
