Pink Biography Alecia Beth Moore who is better known to her fans as Pink. Pink was born on September 8, 1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Pink is well known for her singing, acting, record producing, and song writing. Pink grew up with her dad singing and playing guitar for her, which inspired her to become a rock star. When Pink was in high school she started her own band called Middleground. They only receive local recognition. When Pink was 16 she joined a group called Choice. They signed with record label LaFace and did a song for the soundtrack for the 1996 movie Kazaam. After awhile, the group went their own ways; however, Pink stayed with LaFace and that is when she received her name Pink.
In 2001, Pink went on to release her second studio album entitled “M!ssundaztood”. Her first single was “Get the Party Started”. The single hit number 4 in the United States and number two in the United Kingdom. Her second single off the album was “Don’t Let Me Get Me”. This single made it to number 10 in the United States and in the United Kingdom. She released “Just like a Pill” as her third single. This was her first number 1 hit single in the United States. Her last single released was the song “Family Portrait”. This was another single that only reached the charts at number 10. In 2003, Pink released her third album entitled “Try This”. This album was the first album by Pink to feature a Parental Warning on the album. She released three singles from the album called “Trouble”, “God is a DJ” and “Last to Know”. The only single to sell well was the last single, “Last to Know”.
