Mary released her first album in 1992 entitled "What's the 411?" which went 4 times platinum. She then released her next album entitled "My Life" which was another album that 4 times platinum. Mary went on to release one of her biggest selling albums called "Share My World" and it has gone 5 times platinum. In 1999, Mary released her album "Mary" that went 3 times platinum. Then in 2001, Mary released her next album entitled "No More Drama" which went 3 times platinum and the single "No More Drama" was her top single off the album. In 2003, she released her album "Love & Life" that only went platinum. Her biggest selling album of them all was "The Breakthrough" that went 6 times platinum selling 6 million copies. All of her albums have gone platinum in the US and she is still selling albums to this day.

Mary has also been known for her acting. She has made many appearances in many TV shows such as The Jamie Fox Show, Strong Medicine, and Ghost Whisperer. She played in the movie Prison Song as Mrs. Butler. In 2004, Mary worked in an off Broadway show called The Exonerated. Mary has done it all and is still topping charts and the movie screen. She is one of today's R&B divas of our time and is bound to be a legend that will have many young girls modeling their lives after her.
