Korn Biography

Korn is a rock band from Bakersfield, California. The band is made up of the members Jonathan Davis, Reginald Arvizu, James Shaffer, and David Silveria. The only former member of the band is Brian Welch. Korn has made a name for themselves in the rock world with a full twelve albums to date.

The bands first album “Korn” was released in 1994. The album took number 1 on the Heat Seekers Chart. In 1996, Korn released their second “Life is Peachy”. The hit song off the album was their single “ADIDAS”. The reason behind the song is that they took the name and broke it down to mean “All Day I Dream about Sex”.

In 1998, Korn released their big selling album “Follow the Leader”. Their fans of course, loved the album and it sold over 9 million copies. The hits from this album were “Freak on a Leash” and “All in the Family”, which had the help from Limp Bizkits lead singer Fred Durst.

The next big album for Korn was their album “Issues”, which was released in 1999. The single released from the album were “Falling Away from Me”, “Make me Bad”, and Somebody Someone”.

After this, the band went to work on more albums. In 2002, they released “Untouchables” which was another hit selling album. In 2003, they released their album “Take a Look in the Mirror”. When 2004 rolled around, they took all their hit singles and released a greatest hits album. The Greatest Hits album featured all their hits songs from their previous albums.

From 2005 to 2006, they released three albums that were all live or unplugged. This was a complete three albums with them performing their music live and unplugged.

In 2007, they went on to release an album called “MTV Unplugged: Korn”. They are working on their next album, which is scheduled to be released this year. This will be their first studio album since 2002. Any albums before this were all live albums. The album is not yet named, but this will make the eighth studio album that Korn has put out for fans. This is one band that has been on top for years and will be for a long time to come.
