Kenny Chesney Biography

Kenny Chesney is an American country artist that was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 26th 1968. Kenny is very well known for hit chart topping hits. Kenny played at local establishment to get his music known and after he graduated college, he headed to Nashville. Here he bagan to sing at every place he could find that would let him perform. He was signed with a small label called Capricorn Records and released his first album called "In My Wildest Dreams" which didn't do so hot on the country charts and only sold about 10,000 copies.

Kenny went on to release many more albums including "All I need to Know" in 1995, "Me and You" in 1996, "I Will Stand" in 1997, "Everywhere We Go" in 1999. Kenny released a greatest hits album in 2000 to showcase all his hits that his fans helped to make big.

Kenny released his seventh album in 2002, entitled "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem" which sold thousands of copies and had hits such as "Young", "The Good Stuff", and "Big Star". Kenny really made his mark on the charts with this album with many of his singles heading straight to the top of the charts. Kenny then released a Christmas Album entitled "All I Want for Christmas is a Real Good Tan."

In 2004, Kenny Chesney released his album entitled "When the Sun Goes Down" which went 4 times platinum. This album produced top hits such as "When the Goes Down" that featured Uncle Kracker, "I go back", and "There Goes My Life". This album really made it big for Kenny by selling 550,000 copies in just its first week of sales.

In 2005, Kenny released 2 albums, one of them entitled "Be as You Are (Songs from an Old Blue Chair)" and "The Road and the Radio". The second album was another big hit for Kenny with hits including "Living in Fast Froward", "You Save Me", "Summertime" and "Beer in Mexico."

In 2006, Kenny released a Live album called "Live: Live Those Songs Again" which included live versions of many hits from different albums. This album went platinum and Kenny keeps proving to the world that he can do it every time.
