Finger Eleven Biography This band was formed in Canada in 1994 and has had a huge Canadian following ever since. Members include Scott Anderson, James Black, Rick jacket, Sean Anderson, Rich Beddoe, and former member Rob Gommerman. They started out by winning a rock band contest on the radio station 97.7 CHTZ in which the radio station organized. They used the money they won to further their career by making their first album, which was titled, “Letters from Chutney”.
In 2003, they released their self-titled album and this brought the hit single, “One Thing”, which made it to #16 in the United States. This song gave them exposure on Smallville and Scrubs. They also recorded the song for Kane of WWE called “Slow Chemical”. Their song “Sad Exchange” was for the 2003’s Daredevil movie. Their song, “Stay in the Shadow” was one of the tracks for the video game Burnout 3 and “Good Times” made it to SSX 3. Three more of their songs made it to Game Cube game 1080 Avalanche. Life as We Know It had “One Thing” at the end of the 6th episode. WWE used the song “One Thing” as a tribute video following the death of Chris Benoit. Their self-titled album has made them publicly known worldwide now and the songs on television have really portrayed them. Their most recent album “Them vs. You vs. Me” was released to the public in March 2007 and the single, “Paralyzer” was performed on the Jay Leno Show on March 14, 2007. They also performed the same song at the NHL awards show on June 14, 2007.
