Bob Sinclair Biography

A French record producer, Bob Sinclair has been mistaken for Sinclair. His real name is Christopher Le Friant. He received the name Bob Sinclair from a French spy movie. He said he kind of took on the attitude of the main character and decided to keep that name for his stage name. It has stuck since that time and brought him much success.

He is a record producer, DJ, remixer, and the owner of Yellow Productions. He started his DJing career in 1986 when he was only 18. His specialty was hip-hop and funk. He was named, "Chris the French Kiss'. He went into collaboration with Thomas Bangalter of draft Pink called "Gym Tonic'

He is readily known for his French touch. His track "I Feel For You" was a tribute to French musician Cerrone. This went to #9 on the UK Top 40. He had a few more aliases, which were, The Mighty Bop and Reminiscence Quartet.

In 2005, he had a hit called "Love generation", which made it to #1 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart and the German media Control Singles charts in 2006. This song was one of his major hits throughout Europe. It also was the official anthem for the World Cup 2006 held in Germany.

He is nominated for a Grammy for "World Hold On" by E-Smoove. He beat out Madonna and Christina Aguilera for the Number One Hot Dance Club single. His fourth single titled, Western Dream' was to be released but cancelled because of a new album in the process and on the list to be released soon.

The album titled, "Soundz of Freedom" has already debuted in France, but not in the United States as of this writing. He also includes a mammoth film of his tour throughout Australia, United States, and China plus his best videos are also included along with the tour. This is his gift to his fans before his huge tour started. Bob Sinclair loves what he does and his dream is to bring people together to do what they love and to fulfill their dreams.
