Big & Rich Biography Big and Rich are one of today's biggest country duo artists today. Kenny Big is a former solo artists and former lead singer of luvjOi. John Rich is the former vocalist and bassist of the country group Lonestar. Before being signed, Big and Rich worked on songs for artists such as Martina McBride and Jason Aldean with the song "Amarillo Sky". Martina McBride didn't record the song and Jason Aldean did with his debut album and took the song to number 4 on the country charts. Big and Rich landed themselves a record contract and put out their first album in 2004 entitled "Horse of a Different Color". Their first album went straight to number 1 on both the Billboard national charts and Billboards country charts. Their biggest single on the album was "Save A Horse, Ride a Cowboy" which topped the charts at number 11 on the radio. This single was also featured on ESPN which made the song even a bigger hit. They also released the singles "Holy Water", "Wild West Show" and "Big Time" from the album. In 2005, they released their album "Coming to Your City" which was another big album for Big and Rich that went platinum. This album, like their first, is really known for their hit "Coming to Your City" which received major air play on the radio. They also released the singles "8th of November" and "Never Mind Me".
