2Pac Biography

2PAC or Tupac Shakur as we all know him was a legend in his own right. His life was taken at the young age of 25 in a drive by shooting in Las Vegas. He had grown up around violence and hard times in the ghetto being born in Harlem in New York. He wrote songs about the violence and he was in the Guinness book of world records for the best selling hip-hop artist in the world. His songs were well known for their political and racism aspects as well as drug, alcohol abuse and run-ins with the law. This is how he became the greatest rapper of all time.

2Pac had his own demons as well. He became the main spotlight for lawsuits and other legal trouble. The most well known was when he was accused of sexual assaulting a woman in 1993. He denied the claim profusely and the day before he was to be found guilty, he was shot five times in a studio in Manhattan. This just confirmed his suspicions that people in the business had known of the shooting before it happened. After that incident he had to serve 11 months of his sentence and was released on an appeal that a CEO of Death Records financed with the agreement to release 3 records under his label Death Row records.

2Pac also had an acting career besides his hip-hop music. He starred in his first film, Nothing but Trouble in 1991 but this was only an appearance without a speaking part. Then in 1992, he had his first starring role in Juice. Other films include in which 2Pac had a role in were Poetic justice and Above the Rim. Then after his death, three of his completed films were released including: Bullet, Gridlock'd and Gang related.

He proceeded to make a fifth album, which was a double disc CD and the first in hip-hop history, which was called All Eyez on Me. Then on September 7, 1996, he was shot four times and died 6 days later.
