Season 9 of AI is probably one of the most talented group of singers yet. Each week we will truly say goodbye to a talented individual. Voting is usually open for two hours after each show and if you get a busy signal you have time to call back. On the results show night if you want to find out early (west coast) you can go to our forums and find the American Idol results.
If you don't want to know who was kicked off tonight then we suggest you get off the Internet. Once the show is aired of the east coast it's pretty much posted all over the place and it may ruin your TV night.
FOX announced in a press release that effective with the March 13, 2008 installment, the "Results Show" of American Idol each week will run one full hour, instead of the usual thirty minutes show. FOX has seen great success in dropping thirty minute shows behind the "Results Show, but can ultimately make four to five times as much advertising money having the number one TV show on the air for another 30 minutes.
